R.E.S.P.E.C.T

Its almost coming up to 3 months for the last post. Well, die working is better than die starving, that is what I had been telling everyone. So yes, busy is my only excuse for not being around for the blog. But I guess, when you feel like there is something that you had started, something that you wished to see going somewhere, but then again being left like that, there is one slight of feeling uneasy going inside your tummy, hence, I need to discipline myself for writing a blog. I am still a BLOGGER!

Today's topic. RESPECT! (macam cikgu...)

When we were younger, our parents mannered us to respect the elders. When we get to school, teachers told us to respect them and also other students in school. As we get older, we somehow learn the entire thing ourselves, respect people around us. Let it be your boss, your colleagues, your friends, your loved ones, your employees, even strangers on the streets. But sometimes I do believe there are parts whereby it became hard, eh?

Situation no.1
You walk into a jewelry store, wanted to buy something nice for your wife, as an anniversary gift. Something not so pricey, but simple and nice for your lovely lady. A young lad come to greet you upon your feet touches the shop main door. It was all smile and friendly at first, then pops the question, "are you looking for something sir?". It was already wrong at the first place with that question, but you still go with it, "errm, something nice for my wife, earrings perhaps". Young lad then continue with his question, "may I know roughly your budget?". You get a little annoyed but still trying to be nice, "I have no idea, perhaps you can show me something?". He then leads you to the 'premium' section, "here are our exclusive limited designers edition, sir". You then sit down and have a look. The nearest price tag that you can see, strikes 5 digits for a pair. Your bank account numbers came into your head, your emotions and face started to change, you throw in a little control but nearby folks could read. "Maybe something less expensive?". Then, the young lad's tone also changed, "Owh, ok, maybe this section, have a look first, let me know when you see anything"

What would you do?

*picture is for illustration purpose only*

I will not answer for the story as above, as somehow that kind of situation ever happen to someone that I know, *i did not indicate who, or me*. And what that person did was pretty amazing, based on respect!

All sorts of people would have different reaction to that situation I firmly believe, hence if that happen to you, what is your reaction? Think hard and maybe drop me a comment? I would love to hear what really you would do!

Well, well, last night Malaysia was thrashed by Vietnam in SEA Games 2015, technically not Malaysia but our younger lads, Harimau Muda, here is a clip on Respect in Football! Enjoy!

She is going blind, husband did something else for her...

I came across this video on a Sunday morning, where everyone wakes up a lil late and I still wake up for work time (you know what I mean)

It's about a happily married, loving couple. How wife did the cooking, laundry and all...

But she is going blind...and she didn't know how to tell the husband...here is the clip

Pretty good eh?

And now, talking about people's disability, how people stick together even though their partners are going through tough time, really be thankful for everything that we still have...the video made me realise even more, do not miss what is gone, but appreciate what you currently have!

But for me, still Thailand makes a better ninja onion video, here is the clip, dang!

Where all the 'talking' goes to?

I suppose that picture can speaks a lot for itself. Now recall your last hang out session with your friend, did that expensive smartphone of yours 'sneak' out of your pocket and you have a look on what is happening on the 'other world' like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram?

Have all the conversation stop for a while just to give way to all this clicking on the smartphone? Now, you think about it, which is more important?

But sometimes even there is one guy who keep telling his/her friend around to stop doing it and all, friends ignorance is way higher so, this is what we can do...

An easy game, many had done it and many had felt the effect...The Stacking Phone game.

Many might have done this when you read this, but for those that have no idea on what is this about, this is how the game rolls,

First, everybody put their phone either faced down or another way round and stack it up together (like in the picture)

Secondly, let the phone so, and nobody is allowed to check on their phone and no answering even it is ringing and going to explode soon.

What happen if one checks? Easy, he or she pays the entire bill that come later (don't lah you 'ngek' the person later)

The game ends when the bill come or someone checks the bill, as easy as that!

The other part goes for those camps or any activities or such. (this I learned in one of the church camp that I recently attended)

Before anything starts, do let all the participants know that phone will be keep and before that do let them have some time to call their family members or anybody to let them know if anything emergency, do have an emergency contact numbers in the camp itself. After all the calls had been made, give them a sealed bag and asked to put their phone and sealed it

What happens in that one or two days without their phone, many will be amazed, many will feel the 'special' side of the effect, this I promised you for many had agreed, well what are you waiting for? Start talking and put your phone aside!

A Story to Share

The Story goes like this,

Once there was an old man with a boy bringing a donkey into town to be sold for some money. As they were walking out, there was a decent merchant saw them walking with the donkey,

So he said, "why such a fool? When there is a donkey to ride but you walk with the transport?"

So the old man and the boy thought riding the donkey was a better idea, so hop on and they continue their journey, not far from where they met the previous merchant, they saw a lady carrying plants on her head,

She said, "what a terrible animal abuse! Burdening a poor donkey with two human!"

So the old man and the boy came down and think maybe only one person should ride the donkey. So the old man told the young boy to stay on the donkey as they continue their journey. Few more kilometers, they met a young, attractive lady,

She said, "what a disrespectful lad! Riding the donkey instead of giving the old man the privilege!"

Embarrassed by such statement, the boy came down and told the old man to ride the donkey as he continue on foot, so came to another point, where they met a nomad, and again,

He said, "An old man, wise of experienced does not pity the kid who is walking on his foot?"

So, here is the thing, they had did all, riding together, riding one by one, not riding the poor donkey, but still, there is people who are not satisfied with what we do, so it is sufficient when we had did our best, cause that is all that matters! Happy Wednesday!

First post for the year 2012!

Not gonna do any New Year resolution here, for what you wanna let people know right? Keep it to yourself and work it out, so yea...for my first post, I wanted to put something up which is meaningful, well, I am not lazy by just putting video up and, leave it just like that, but see...many years had passed us, tragedies had caused damaged to to world, badly!

Japanese Earthquake

Tsunami

Haiti Earthquake

Sept 11th (New York), Jan 11th (Haiti) and March 11th (Japan)-Luke 21:10-11. Then Jesus said to his diciples, "Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes". Famines and pestilences in various places and fearful events and great signs from heaven. "Jesus says for behold I come quickly" -Smith O

I am not being religious here. But look at it this way people, Live Your Life like there is No Tomorrow, because you really do not know, when there is tomorrow or not. Do what you wanna do when you still can do it, if you love someone, say it to that person, do not regret it by the end of time, its pointless! Listen to the song that I had posted here. Listen to the lyrics, we might not be superman helping people individually, but when we do, we are all superheroes.

We are the World- written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Ritchie 25 years earlier, for Africa, now brought back 25 years later, sang by over 80 singers and performers, big names like Haitian Wyclef Jean, Akon, Lil' Wayne, Black Eyes Peas, Josh Gordon, original Michael Jackson's voice, his sister and so much more gathers to put effort together, because UNITED we are STRONG!

Feel the music people, listen to the effort they put in, although the video is 2 years ago, but still, there are plenty of people need us out there. Lend a hand people..may God bless us and those in need. Godspeed!

Being on Self

I grow up in a small 'rumah papan' (wooden house). With 3 small rooms, normal living room and kitchen, one bathroom, toilet and store. 18 years without fan what to say air con. Small district named Bau is where I was raised. Despite all these, I am proud to say that I grow up from extremely normal family.

Roam around drains catching small fishes, building tree-hut with friends, gambling with marbles and money never bothers. Finished from high school, with my dad's hardwork, I managed to get into private university and manage to live a better life, yet still miss the old one.

But I never failed to do one thing. Be myself.

I cry when I feel sad, laugh when I am happy and shouted when I am angry, like any normal being. Acting classy or being someone else, I never understand why some would even attempt to do. Changing a few different things in life, well, everybody underwent that process, but dramatic changes which brings someone into another world is totally out of conversation. There is no need to be someone else, for it hurts in the end.

My dear friends, when your loved one beside you looked at you with the stranger's glance, beware, you might change yourself to drastically.

Useless? You think you are?

Most of the time, when we are down and disappointed, we will tend to think that we are pretty useless, we are no-good-at-all for the world. The world do not need us, even if we are gone, it would not takes much effects, but when you really think about it, we are actually NOT! In this post, I am going to point out a few points in proving why I say so...

First Point:

Look nothing like you now eh? Well in fact, that is each and everyone of us reading this! We are the fittest surviving in fighting with other 40 million-600 million. Imagine that! we swim, we swim and we swim, never know where is the finishing point. Reaching the finishing point, we still gotta fight to get to win the prize by getting into the prize! And we made it! Think again, are you useless?

Second Point:

Everybody knows this guy, numbers in his head is more than the counting of your sperm! Stephen Hawking... read more about him on http://www.indiatone.com/stephen-hawking-a-short-biography-on-his-life/. Move on...

Ok, this is Wu Bai, he is a singer, but he does not look anything like today's singer. C'mon people, look at the face, you know what I mean, and his singing, well, honestly speaking, it's just a so-so thing. But people, he is Taiwan's "King of Live". He rock and roll like nobody else could ever do it! He do not have the look, he barely had the voice, but he got the mentality and ability! He wrote songs for plenty of famous singer, Jacky Cheung, Andy Lau, Vivian Hsu and so much more! As I mention, no look, barely nice voice, but he is on top, he can, why not us? Now, think~ are we that totally useless?

Okay, if I am going to list down every single person which are similar to this people, my post is gonna last till next year.

Sometimes, all this depression could lead us to the harmful solution, naming one-committing suicide, (Malaysia's teenage current issue). Plenty of future ahead, plenty of chances and opportunities in front await. It is just up to us, how we want our whole life be. We are capable of doing a lot of things, many things that other might not, example, when you can read this post, means you are able to connect to internet, unlike many kids in India, they might not have this! See?!

For fun-

There are plenty of time for improvement!
