One is good and another is RIDICULOUSLY...

I am sure quite a number of people out there have tried movie marathon at cinema due to some boring days. Some finds it alright, some finds it too tiring. Since there were plenty of movies now on screen and I never try movie marathon, so I went..and watched this two movies

And I am gonna roughly talk about this movie, *Spoiler alert*

The Original Macam Macam Ada

It was not a very good day, was packed with plenty of stuff and work loads, but the not so happy part was, I met an accident, long story cut short, dented door, need money to fix and hence not so...great a day. But no kidding, sometimes people do say...Happiness' initial is food. *alright, I might have just made that up, but for me that is kind of true, lol*

Getting from a fellow blogger information, 12 years, this is The Original Macam Macam Ada Mega Buffet's 12th years. That is a grown up child already. For me, i gotta say, memang you'll see the diversity in culture, in food, in people if you are at this buffet.

I see Chinese eating together with Muslims friends, and other wise.

I see all sorts of food being served by Grand Magherita, from Chinese food, Japanese food, Middle East food, or course the delicious local delicacies!

And yes, friends, I am already like an hour late when I arrived at the dinner, an hour after our Muslim's friends break their fast due to the not-so-happy incident, but look at the crowd photo I snapped, people are still there, having their food, having chit chat with their companies and having a real good time I must say!

Hence, I put my cameras down, settle down a little bit, apologize to all my fellow bloggers about the very late arrival and cerita accident bermula.

*NOTE: I am always the panglipulara no matter where, -story teller*

A story which I am not gonna tell in here, really, if u see me, let me know you wanna listen to the story, I will verbally tell you, its more story telling like that.

So, it is more to food time instead of talking, turning to Tia, i asked, what's highly recommended?

Without any doubt, she go straight with PENANG CHAR KUEH TIAW!

I am a big fan of Char Kueh Tiao to be honest, you know the a little bit hangus taste, not bitter, but it is a little over fried by the cook. The one shown in the picture is pretty much like how I describe it, but the extra thing that I was so glad when I took a bite, was the spicy sambal used to fried Kueh Tiao. Uhh! That taste, definitely makes you wanna go back for another round for sure, I did!

This one is pretty much like lok lok that we normally eat around town, but there is one thing that is differentiate between them and the rest of the other lok loks, yes, the sauce! The sauce with the lok lok that is being served at Grand Magherita is spicy, sweet and a little salty, you might be thinking the famous lok lok near Kuching High School taste almost the same, but I am telling you no! It is not the same, it has its own unique taste! And man, the Ngo Hiang (spring roll) is crispy and remind me of my late uncle, he used to make what I called the best ngo hiang I will ever taste!

Because I was waiting for the sotong kangkung, I went over and grabbed the omelette, not a big fan of oyster cook this way, or maybe the Penang way, I have little comment about the omelette.

And the sotong kangkung that got me waiting for, cause the aunty that is behind the station went to grab more sotong and also kangkung, then you know what does that mean, too good! Everyone want some, that's why...habis! I was good for me because of the ingredient were fresh!

Up to the sotong kangkung, I started to feel a little bloated, maybe due to my mood, I slow down a little in the food consumption, but I told myself, this is an opportunity that I obtain, I must not let it to waste, hence I got up and went to the local delicacies station, and I grab a few piles and piled it onto my plate and get back to the table. There are fried vegetables, chicken, fried rice and beef on my plate (photo under) I would say, quite a normal one that we had everyday, but one stands out a lot, that is the beef! Tender and juicy, simple as that. It does not have plenty complicated ingredients to prepare the dish, but the juice that has been extracted out after cooking, I wish my mom find out the ingredient about this. Lol

Right after the plate with that juicy beef, I got extremely bloated and really started to feel not so well, really does not know what went wrong. But photos are the extremely nice, sweet and candylicious cakes that fellow bloggers had gathered for the table, everyone went back with high-sugar level, I am quite sure, but everyone was darn happy with the cakes!

And the Japanese food! Garner took this and also wanted it to share it with the table, I sat there, with saliva drooling, wanted to have a piece but all I know was the damn bloated tummy, not a very right moment..

The Original Macam Macam Ada Ramadhan buffet is here for the entire month, you can actually go down and have a taste with all the great foods yourselves  at adult RM 100 and kid at RM 50 only! Pretty worth it I tell you, really!

The number is there to be dialed, and we would really like to thank Grand Magherita for the delicious food! WoHoo! and here is the Group Photo!

R.E.S.P.E.C.T

Its almost coming up to 3 months for the last post. Well, die working is better than die starving, that is what I had been telling everyone. So yes, busy is my only excuse for not being around for the blog. But I guess, when you feel like there is something that you had started, something that you wished to see going somewhere, but then again being left like that, there is one slight of feeling uneasy going inside your tummy, hence, I need to discipline myself for writing a blog. I am still a BLOGGER!

Today's topic. RESPECT! (macam cikgu...)

When we were younger, our parents mannered us to respect the elders. When we get to school, teachers told us to respect them and also other students in school. As we get older, we somehow learn the entire thing ourselves, respect people around us. Let it be your boss, your colleagues, your friends, your loved ones, your employees, even strangers on the streets. But sometimes I do believe there are parts whereby it became hard, eh?

Situation no.1
You walk into a jewelry store, wanted to buy something nice for your wife, as an anniversary gift. Something not so pricey, but simple and nice for your lovely lady. A young lad come to greet you upon your feet touches the shop main door. It was all smile and friendly at first, then pops the question, "are you looking for something sir?". It was already wrong at the first place with that question, but you still go with it, "errm, something nice for my wife, earrings perhaps". Young lad then continue with his question, "may I know roughly your budget?". You get a little annoyed but still trying to be nice, "I have no idea, perhaps you can show me something?". He then leads you to the 'premium' section, "here are our exclusive limited designers edition, sir". You then sit down and have a look. The nearest price tag that you can see, strikes 5 digits for a pair. Your bank account numbers came into your head, your emotions and face started to change, you throw in a little control but nearby folks could read. "Maybe something less expensive?". Then, the young lad's tone also changed, "Owh, ok, maybe this section, have a look first, let me know when you see anything"

What would you do?

*picture is for illustration purpose only*

I will not answer for the story as above, as somehow that kind of situation ever happen to someone that I know, *i did not indicate who, or me*. And what that person did was pretty amazing, based on respect!

All sorts of people would have different reaction to that situation I firmly believe, hence if that happen to you, what is your reaction? Think hard and maybe drop me a comment? I would love to hear what really you would do!

Well, well, last night Malaysia was thrashed by Vietnam in SEA Games 2015, technically not Malaysia but our younger lads, Harimau Muda, here is a clip on Respect in Football! Enjoy!

She is going blind, husband did something else for her...

I came across this video on a Sunday morning, where everyone wakes up a lil late and I still wake up for work time (you know what I mean)

It's about a happily married, loving couple. How wife did the cooking, laundry and all...

But she is going blind...and she didn't know how to tell the husband...here is the clip

Pretty good eh?

And now, talking about people's disability, how people stick together even though their partners are going through tough time, really be thankful for everything that we still have...the video made me realise even more, do not miss what is gone, but appreciate what you currently have!

But for me, still Thailand makes a better ninja onion video, here is the clip, dang!

The Ruins of Songs

In few many recent years, we had been exposed to many source of 'links'. Why would I say so, from Friendster, we know what people around us, those we know and also those we do not know. That is that.

Slowly after that, we have Facebook, where we learn more about people. Where they live, what they like, music that they listen to, books that they read, movies that they watched and so on... (more or less for Twitter)

Pretty much about the same time, 9gag came about, and we learn many other things through picture, good thing is, of people that we do not know (pretty much completely)

Opinions, life, interest, funny, touching and sometimes naughty pictures been posted in the very recent years 9gag (as compare to the original ones, for those real 9gaggers)

And as for today, I bring up...MUSIC

But please, do not say anything or have any thoughts before finish reading the entire post. Writer here are not mentioning about the entire world's music, of course there are some artist producing good music stills but am talking about in general HITS SONGS. Let's see now, how bout you judge it personally eh?

2048

Wall Street Journal: It's almost like Candy Crush for Math Geeks, that is the game description.

I am pretty sure that image right there, is familiar for some of us, and info of the game, it was created by an 19 years old Italian, over a 'weekend project'. Right...what a weekend project!

The game, basically is about sliding the same numbers together and add it up, your mission is to have one of the tiles with the number 2048, then you would win the game and of course there are some geeks that reaches 4096, which is the double of 2048

Designer was surprise when game was release, there were over 4 millions visitor over 3 days. Yes, I cannot link this- 19 years old, release free weekend project game, 3 days, 4 millions.

But well, he still keep it free at the store, which is good! #respect

and commented that he would not earn from something that he did not invented. Cool!

 Creator said something on Twitter

So if you have yet to download it and you have plenty of time to kill, please be my guest, but if you have many things to do and more things are waiting for you to be done, please just forget about this, you are gonna get stuck!

psst...I had reached 2048, couple of times already, #HaoLien

OMP: Las Vegas 2013

OMP: stands for Old Movie Preview, so yes, coming post tagged with OMP will be movies that had been taken down from the cinema and I watched it from other sources, and please do not ask me where, I have my way. This time around, it will be Las Vegas 2013.

Coming to some stage of life, when we tend to watch some movies and halfway through or when we are done watching the movies, somehow, somewhere we can relate ourselves or people around us to the movies. Although I might not be 60-70 ish now, *like characters in the movie*. But somehow I can relate myself to the movie. The main cast in the movie mostly are living legends, Michael Douglas (Wonder Boys) as Billy, Robert De Niro (The Godfather) as Paddy, Morgan Freeman (Bruce Almighty) as Archie and Kevin Kline (Wild Wild West) as Sam.

Arguments are like turning table.

Arguments is an action that we, human could not avoid especially when we are bothered by our humane emotion and feelings. Brain and heart are built and engineered that way. Arguments usually started when one started to felt that their authorities being challenge or their opinion or rights being picked and went against.

Things could go really bad when no one from either one side step down to give way to the other to pass, matter could end ugly. Couple's could end up fighting from such argumentation, maybe over a jar of mayonnaise, well, it is true. With all these, it leads to "arguments are like turning tables"

Well, for those of you who does not know what is a turning table, you might be foreigner who obviously does not like Chinese food, for I strongly believe, this simple yet amazing technology is indeed, invented by the small eyes, money motivated brain Chinese (don't get me wrong, I am Chinese myself).

Turning table is that piece of revolving piece in the middle of the table as you can see in the picture. You can turn that thing around so that everybody could get a piece of every single food on the table. Now...do you get it? Why is it similar to arguments?

Let this wonderful lady tell you why...

Too Phat.

When they first came in gloriously in Malaysian's hip hop listeners, Too Phat used to be one of the most respected duo in the Malaysia's music industry. Too Phat consist of two young boys, Joe Flizzow (borned Johan Ishak from Johor Bahru) and Malique Ibrahim (Kuala Lumpur)

Winning many awards such as Best Engineered Album, Best English Song and so on, Too Phat was really flying high at those days.

Those list can go on but it is already in the wikipedia, but the purpose of writing this post was to express how much I miss listening to these two putting rhymes together and rapping it out producing good music.

Literally, deep down, part of me died during 2007 when Too Phat announce their solo pathways, Malique getting married and will have a different life and Joe carries on the legacy with Kartel records. It would be great if I could see these two again, but never will it be, when only YouTube cures me.

Peace!

But this one is like fuhh...45 MINUTES! 45 GOOD MINUTES for every FREAKING episode! Well, what are you waiting for? Go and find a source for this and go and watch it!

Tears in Heaven

Music itself can brings plenty of emotions, feelings and all sort of other expression that sometimes, word itself could not describe.

My today favourite songs, written with tragic behind the music, its Eric Clapton-Tears in Heaven.

Photo taken from http://www.liveyachting.com

Eric Clapton, a wonderful musician himself, strumming the guitar filling souls with feelings, had tragic in his life as well. On March 20, 1991, his four year old son plunged to death 53 storeys high. Following the tragedy, Eric was visibly distraught for months after. But the song had earned him many achievements and awards, but for him, the song its not about winning anything but its the loss of his son is what he felt for, THIS IS MUSIC!

Enjoy the song people, written with nothing but true feelings.

Being on Self

I grow up in a small 'rumah papan' (wooden house). With 3 small rooms, normal living room and kitchen, one bathroom, toilet and store. 18 years without fan what to say air con. Small district named Bau is where I was raised. Despite all these, I am proud to say that I grow up from extremely normal family.

Roam around drains catching small fishes, building tree-hut with friends, gambling with marbles and money never bothers. Finished from high school, with my dad's hardwork, I managed to get into private university and manage to live a better life, yet still miss the old one.

But I never failed to do one thing. Be myself.

I cry when I feel sad, laugh when I am happy and shouted when I am angry, like any normal being. Acting classy or being someone else, I never understand why some would even attempt to do. Changing a few different things in life, well, everybody underwent that process, but dramatic changes which brings someone into another world is totally out of conversation. There is no need to be someone else, for it hurts in the end.

My dear friends, when your loved one beside you looked at you with the stranger's glance, beware, you might change yourself to drastically.

The Social Network

This movie is a movie which I had just watched, well, recently- ONLINE, alright, I know, I know, this movie had been out for months, I know, but I just aint got the time alright? At least I watched it now! Well, I'm gonna simply write on what I think about THE SOCIAL NETWORK

A lot of bloggers might already had blog about this, including one of my friend there, Joshua, but its alright, something is better than nothing inside this blog. But for my version, I am gonna keep everything real short.

For this movie, what I personally think is, the movie is interesting enough, giving out so many facts which we as facebook users might not know about the inventor of the site itself. apart from the facts, of course the whole real stories behind the whole thing. It is fun to get to learn that actually that they are actually something like this...being the youngest billionaire aint easy task! :) But one thing, it is not inspiring enough, I had no idea why...or maybe because I was also dozing off while watching the movie too.

That's all from me, whoever out there which came across this post and so happen, have not watched the movie, well, to spend some extremely bored and free time, go ahead and watch it, but of course there are plenty other good movies out there as compare to this one.

Rating: 5.5 outta 10
