Keep Calm, BPL is back on!

From May until August 20th, how long is that, a couple of months, what could happen in that couple of months? Indeed a lot, people could get married and get pregnant. People could have strike lottery and became instant millionaires. People could have seen things and attended some camps and completely change their lives, for me...it is only leaving my blog unattended which leads to this. I AM SO SORRY!

What I had started, I must keep it going, I ain't letting this go yet, so readers, if you still enjoy what you are reading here, do subscribe and like my fb page!

Owh yes, the familiar lion with the crown and the red ball on his left foot is BACK! Well, like every time, it brings the excitement in all of us! (well, to the football fans I mean). Season 2012-13

English Premier League kicks off! Kopitiams would start to be full, beer would be selling like pisang goreng, and many cash flows around *if you know what I mean*

So, how bout some what had we been through last season and what are we expecting on the coming matches?

Dramatic!
That's one word to describe last year final closing moments for the Premier League, crown defining moments between Manchester Derby rivals, United and City where City win against Queens Park Rangers in the final minutes. Arsenal and Tottenham finished in the top four by later was disappointed by the rules of UEFA after Chelsea won another dramatic match against Bayern Munich. We had also witnessed the rises of the Magpies, finished in the top five after incredible management by Alan Pardew. Whilst the poor performance teams drop to the championship, they are the Blackburn, Bolton and Wolves making ways for Reading, Southampton and West Ha. Alright, that is last season.

Transfer
How about we list down some transfer list here:

Robin van Persie (Arsenal to Manchester United)
Jose Bosingwa (Chelsea to QPR)
Louis Saha (Tottenham to Sunderland)
Eden Hazard (Lille to Chelsea)
Lukas Podolski (Koln to Arsenal)
Shinji Kagawa (Dortmund to Manchester United)
Park Ji-Sung (Manchester United to QPR)

and the latest Song (Arsenal to Barcelona)

for more full list, click here!

Alright, for the teams, which could possibly be the one...

Arsenal, with good signings such as Santi Cazorla, Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud, Arsenal has a fighting chance, but I see, only in the top four not winning the title, losing their captain, Robin van Persie, I would say it is going to be a major blow for the Gunners.

Chelsea, Eden Hazard coming in, with their strong defense line and impressive chemistry among all, they could finish higher as compare to last season, but without their main striker Didier Drogba, who followed fellow team-mate footsteps to ShengHua, the game will never be the same.

Manchester City, finishin as champion last year proves that money can buy many things, with their strong line up and better chemistry around this time, it is possible for them to retain their title.

Manchester United, whoever could be the one that could stop City, that will be United. This time around, replacing a Korean with a Japanese, Shinji Kagawa, another Dutchman after Van der Sar, Robin van Persie and also the fearless Mr Vidic is now back from injury, they could put on a really good fight against their derby rival.

Tottenham Hotspur, Harry Redknapp out, AVB in. This is a shock, still with Bale, Van der Vaart and doubtful Modric, Tottenham might surprise us all.

Well, that is about it, your weekend will once again be full with these ain't so? Last words before I end this post, May the Best Team wins the Premier League and it's those that dream BIG.

Congrats to our National Heroes

Yes, I know, Olympic had ended about days ago and only now I post up some updates. Hectic is running over me these few months and therefore and kept me away from my keyboard.

But here, picking out sometime for the sake of these blog, I would like to sincerely thank our national heroes for their heroic, patriotic and masterpiece of skill during the World Stage, Olympic game.

Our beloved Dato Lee Chong Wei, in Men's Single (Badminton), during London, 2012, he was ranked no. 2 behind his bitterest rival, Lin Dan from China. fought good till the final and during the final, Lady Luck smiled upon Lin Dan and left Malaysian could only cheered for silver medal. Dato Lee later apologized in his official twitter account.

And secondly, our new-born national Hero. Miss Pandelela Rinong,

10m Women's Platform Diving, although only Bronze medal, but we should be proud of her, this 20 years old virgin participation, under gigantic pressure from different perspective should be given compliment. Born is a small village called Kpg Jugan, Bau, from near poverty to national hero, she is someone we should be proud of!

Although only 2 medals compare to those nations who conquered the game which is the United States and China, we should proudly say, "Malaysia Boleh!"

His death is due to liver cancer, a great loss to the boxing world, both this men had been living legends in sports, both winning many awards and achievement of their own, but time flies, one is sick and another one is gone, may Joe rest in peace and may Ali gain back his health.

The Manchester Derby

This weekend, BPL match is another focus of many football fans. Apart from the thrilling bitter rival between we both know its Manchester United vs Liverpool, this season, as Manchester City under the management of Roberto Mancini gets stronger with line-ups of a lot of world class players, the Manchester Derby becomes one heck of a match as well.

Of course we expect aggressive play and rough tackle, but c'mon, its football...

We'll see how the match goes, we expect the neighbours will fight as hard as they could like what happen in the match for Community Shield just better!

But again, in sports, always remember to FAIR PLAY, for the fan as well, no matter which ever team you support, keep the sportsmanship spirit alive! Enjoy the video clip video, it might be a bit old, but still, its really a nice video

See you in kopitiam this weekend! :) *with the color of the fair play, you guys could guess which team I am with-wink*

Why Tottenham Hotspurs FC lost?

The match between Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspurs FC played in Old Trafford showed the power of the new batch of players bought by Sir Alex Ferguson. Young, Jones and Cleverley showed their ability and played at the top performance, they might be the main reason for the 3-0 total domination game over Spurs but in personal opinion, Spurs lost due to too many 'celebrity players' in line-ups :)

With Manchester United starting to defend their titles with the departure of legendary Van Der Sar and also the small yet dangerous Paul Scholes, they played against West Brom which now runs by ex-Liverpool manager, Roy Hodgson.
