A new dining place in Kuching

Again, sorry for the extremely late delay, although I might not have that heavy traffic like some of the other fellow bloggers but, I am just sincerely apologising to those who did came back to my blog for more *Peace sign!*

All right you hungry fellas', ever sit in the car and wonder where to go next? Ask in and out, frontward, backward, sideways and everyone just kinda shrugged their shoulders? I EVER BEEN THERE! So, as someone, I consider myself lucky, I managed to get myself two invitations to dine in the newly open cuisine-

i Chef Cuisine

A very nice place to dine and definitely going to be another nice place to hang out with friends! Before I proceed on with any Glorious Moment of Tongue (GMoT) let me direct you to the place first. Here, as simple as ABC, just opposite Jln Song's Perodua, behind soon-to-be-done hypermall, City One. as simple as that, it is just at the roadside, if you can't see it, you better get a new pair of spectacles. It's really easy to spot on! And no worries about the car park, they got plenty! Let's see how the place look like!

Let's not move so fast till the food yet, let's see what kinda nice drinks they put up :) another favourite moment of mine

*for those that don't consume alcohol, no worries, they have plenty of other drinks!

Let's go one by one, I was served this as the first dish, Lamb Shank, before it came, the scent I already can sense it once the small window connecting the kitchen opens. I tell myself, this don't have to be good, I KNOW its gonna be good, indeed, the tenderness of the meat on your first bite, its like love at the first sight, just that, this one is taste. the specially made sauce is really, UMPH!

Then, I was served this...

i Chef Platter, when you go with a bunch of friends, do not know what to pick, but wanted to taste most of those delicious food, this is definitely the package, for it consist a few, and this one that I am having is just one of it. Consisting, of spaghetti, with cheesy mushroom sauce, rib-eye, lamb rack and chicken chop, it is just simply no word could describe those satisfaction. Especially the medium cooked rib-eye, soft and smoothing down your throat, you know your throat could not resist such food.

Look at the colour, its wonderfully medium cooked! For those that wanted it to be nicely done, of course you could ask the chef to do it for you, not even a problem!

Not a big fan of pizza, but that night we were served mushroom pizza, the look, classy, done the Italian way, but as being told by the head chef also the boss, he mentioned that since the oven is still new, and it is not heated enough therefore the pizza has not reach its climax of taste especially the crust part, but still, its nice. Just nice.

 Being Asian, rice, an essential part of our life, when that moment, one spoonful of rice enter your mouth you already could tell, whether it's nice or not for you are consuming it almost, no its EVERYDAY! But when I had this seafood fried rice, a spoonful of it, yea, I dig in for more, for the fragrance rice that they used and how it is fried at a very right temperature, its just a fried rice, not to mention the mussel at the side and those tasty prawn, its the rice itself, simple fried rice with egg, gave you the heavenly taste.

We ate a lot that night, so many nice food entering, its so nice, we do not want it to get out :P

Had some nice chat with the boss and also the head chef, he had been working all around Asia as a chef, mainly in Singapore, and he had been there for over 16 years, imagine that! He had been working in Shanghai, Bangkok, Lankawi and Tioman! Now you know, epic chef is epic! :)
