On 3rd of July 2011, I redefined my stamina through BHR Padawan Nature Challenge 2011. It was a heck of an experience, we were finished 3rd last, trekking through the local known scared place for 6 hours, it sure did dried every piece of energy I got but like I said, it was a one piece of wonderful experience.
Before anything, I would like to congratulate and also applause to those appear as champion and also to us :) for FINISHING ALIVE!
*Thumbs up!*

Due to camera damage during a trip to Jangkar waterfall (post up soon!) I did not manage to snap any photos during the run, but will upload a few via other sources. But definitely will tell every single thing which happen that I think its worth the share.

Reach Borneo Highland resort foothill, waiting for taxi to transport us up, the adrenaline is pumping, the excitement is bursting out, I can't wait for the run to start.

0830 hour
Registration is done, sunshine is striking in. Weather is hot, more and more people appear for registration where mine had done about half an hour ago, run starts in an hour an a half.
1000 hour
FLAG OFF! Everybody is rushing to get ahead where we just chill, wanted to take it slow and steady, hoping to gain constant speed along the way, ahead of us were the participants of Kalimantan View (woman only) which were flagged off about 10 minutes earlier.
Lost track of time
In the jungle we were, everybody is trying to get ahead of everybody, there are massive jam in the JUNGLE, ALERT! We were still remaining our slow and steady pace hoping the front few would slow down after that. But the beginning of the run was already a killer of itself, climbing up all the way for at least a kilometre, really need at least a constant training athlete to complete it without stopping, I managed to keep up my pace, but too bad my partner have to stop to catch her breath.
Most of those which is ahead of us, managed to keep a distance between those left behind, which is us. Running for what we felt like around an hour something, was normal, EXTREMELY nice view everywhere.
Reaching Kalimantan view, managed to bump into Cyril and Willie, (shiok shiok take photos some more). There are clean and enjoying themselves taking extremely breathtaking view from top. (GRRR!)

After that, I understand that, they just have to walk about 5 minutes to go take the nice shot, and all the way up, they were transport by the Mighty Mitsubishi Triton, (DANG!). Managed to ask them to take a shot, and they have to go down with the same car and for us, the hard way, really really hard way down.
We kept on running like how we did since the beginning, but the road seems to never end. Every thing that cause us to think that we are almost there, its nothing but a false alarm. We heard, people announcing something about shows, we thought we are almost there, but we are far from there.
As the weather worsen, we felt rain droplets hitting our face. Our mood quickly changed like the weather, light arguments start to pop up, we are really stressed out during the last hours, as the rain falls, the trek become worse, its starting to get really slippery, many participants were wearing the jogging shoes which makes the journey back harder. Feeling is terrible, we are suppose to run like hell, but now, we are running in hell, last few stations, there were no more officials around due to 'time-out', making our stress level even higher.
But when finally, we can see the flag in the beginning (which is also the end), we were like, "Ahhh, sign of civilisation!". Relief for finally making it through, running for exactly 6 hours and 35 minutes, its really an endurance test.
But I promise myself, I will be back, stronger, faster, and better for next year run, and also looking forward for more Sarawak Bloggers to participate, we'll make it more interesting!
