Big Names remain Unknown

There are plenty of big names in the history which their stories inspired millions, some created hatred which lasts for generations, some were so great, it became myths. There are plenty of them, naming a few, Napoleon which leads many successful war during his time. (Which now, left nothing but his c*ck for sale in an auction)

Fidel Castro, who took control of Cuba by force and became its' dictatorial leader for nearly 5 decades. He became the focus of international controversy, as he remain the only leader of the only communist country in the Western Hemisphere. (he appeared in the game Red Alert! That's how I know this guy!)

Albert Einstein who came out with his well known formulae, the E=MC2, which created the current world's nuclear power through The Theory of Relativity!

With so much more of these names crafted in the history books and people's mind. Ever wonder there are plenty others which did so much in the past but remained unknown? The Unsung Heroes? Here there are couple of them:

Popo Leo The Great

Many had knew about Pope St Gregory the Great who created our calender, but many does not know this guy, Pope Leo The Great, what is so great about him to be mentioned here? He did something that not even a troop of huge army could do, which is stopping Atilla the Hun. In the year 452, when the King of Huns, Atilla went to Italy and threatened Rome, Pope Leo went to meet him personally, Atilla was so impressed by these, turned and left. JUST LIKE THAT! (He should be named Nike's spokesperson of the past for he just do it!)

Emperor and Empress Myeongseong

Women in Asian culture which in this case, the Korea is somehow in the lower level compared to men. But for Empress Myeongseong (which I do not know how to pronounce, honestly), she proves the mindset wrong, being married to the Emperor at a very young age of, 16 when the Emperor is just 15, she teaches herself lots of things such as politics, religion, philosophy, history by reading books which that time is reserved for men only. When the Emperor took over in full power at the age of 22, she began to involved as well, bringing in her own family members into high authority post, solidifying her power. Stories goes on, but the end of her was, when the Japanese, seeing her power, decided to assassinate her, which they did in the year 1895 by stabbing her multiple times, through her death, the Emperor signs treaty with the Japanese.

(this leads me to a song)...

Who run the world? GIRLS, who run the world? GIRLS, who run the world? GIRLS... (even Beyonce sang- My persuasion can build a nation! so Myeongseong :)  )

Any others that you might heard of but they are not famous? drop me a comment!
