First of all, I would really like to apologize for the no update for quite some times now. This is due to the very stressed moment as a student. THE FINAL EXAM period. But well, at least I found a lil' bit of time to write something :) Straight to the topic, no more bullsh*t. Here goes...
Two days ago, with these extremely tough-no kidding-crazy-adventurous monsters :) Eve and Darrell...
We take a step out from our comfort zone (mine is-room with air-con, comforter and mattress) and take a bold step into another 'world' :) Balai Ringin (no, it does not ring!) Eve brought me for the fun, it was Ambrose engagement dinner and pre-Gawai celebration which is the day I posted this up, so some of you might know how is this going to end, but wait, we are not going there yet...not yet...
Its not the concrete jungle as normal (its-lahyf.blogspot.com)
Peaceful (its-lahyf.blogspot.com)
After about 2 hours of drive from Kuching, we reached the village at about 3-4pm something, weather is just chilling and not so hot, we were greeted with smiles from the villagers, I felt like going back to my own hometown many years ago when everything around is still 'not-so' concrete. So, after dropping our stuff at Dennis, the main character for the night's eldest brother place, which is the father's house, Mr Sumbang. We were served with coffee and biscuits, and before we even get to finish our coffee, the 'EXPECTED' is arriving earlier than we had thought, here comes the tuak...

All the scenes are familiar to me, the shot glass, the mate we sit on, the environment and the drinking people, even though I just get to know them, but it seems like we had spoken to each others before :) (or some they called it the alcohol effects) :P

After a few shots of tuak, everybody is literally smiling and start to open up and talk. After a few minutes, they asked me whether I wanted to see the process of making the drinks that I had, which is the pokok Ijuok tuak, I was like, Hell Yea! of course I wanted to experience the once-in-the-life time experience, and they told me that I have to climb trees for that, I do not managed to take any photos when I am on top but will tell the details if I managed to grab some photos from fellow blogger Eve. but this is some shots they had taken, underneath :)

Bla..bla..bla, we had our drinks done, to my surprise, it was not as hard as I thought, but of course we have to get the right thing to make the drinks, or else, we'll be lying dead due to poison. This is like alcohol straight from the backyard man! Then to the 'tempat lepak' the hang-out place, simple, yet cool...
